We built 25 meteorological measuring stations for one of the largest domestically owned integrated energy companies that also deals with scheduling in March.
The cabinets have their own data logger (Campbell CR1000X), a bridging battery, a charge controller, and a modem.
In the project, our main task was to integrate the measured environmental parameters received via various communication protocols (SDI-12, analog 0-400mV, Modbus) into the data logger cabinet, and then to send them from there via two-way communication, using MQTT protocol, to the MS Azure IoT Hub operated by the customer.
The following sensors were used during the project:
Relative humidity and air temperature: Campbell Sci HygroVue10,with 10 plate ventillation house
Panel temperature: Campbell Sci CS241- 2 pcs per system
Wind speed/wind direction: METER ATMOS 22
Pyranometer1: Apogee SP-230-SS /Apogee SP-522-SS
Pyranometer2: Hukseflux SR30-D2-M1
Pyranometer3: Boreas BIS-07/AC
The stations will operate in solar power plants located in various parts of the country.
