Within the framework of a public procurement procedure, the Municipality of Tatabánya has acquired 2 micro-sensor air quality measuring stations. The measurement data will be presented to the citizens through an application within the framework of the smart city project. The instruments were expected to operate completely autonomously, including the continuity of data provision even in lack of GSM connection or power failure. Based on our positive experience gathered during in previous projects, we submitted with the Cairnet solution manufactured by Envea, which met the technical expectations. The stations were put into operation with 2x30W solar power, easy-to-move mobile tripod and the full 6+1 gas component configuration.
