Another new DAHS retrofit project

In April 2026, we completed the retrofit of the emission data acquisition system for 4 boilerlines of a domestic biomass and gas/oil-fired power plant. The power plant switched from the previously used SICK MEAC type data acquisition system to the DURAG D-EMS 2020 type emission data acquisition, handling and reporting system. Based on the existing physical conditions, we installed the DURAG D-MS 500 FC/S data logger devices for each boiler line in a 19” rack 3U high cabinet. It was important during the design phase that our cabinets were completely identical, in order to increase later compatibility and operational safety. The measured values arrive from the analyzers as 4-20mA analog signals to the D-MS 500 FC/S data logger devices. From there, we communicate via an ethernet network with a virtual machine. The D-EMS 2020 emission reporting and data display software runs on the VM. The complexity of the project is well reflected in the fact that two of our engineers completed the physical installation in 4 days, and although we performed the system parameterization in advance in our workshop based on a preliminary IO list and backups of the existing data acquisition system, one of our engineers managed to hand over the system in its final state to the user during a week of field work.
